On April 26th, Kuai Technology reported that the myth of iPhone in the Chinese market is no longer there, which has led to Apple's market share declining steadily.

According to data released by market research firm Counterpoint, Huawei won the first place in the Chinese mobile phone market share in the first quarter of this year, while Apple was almost squeezed out of the top five.

Data shows that with the support of national subsidies, China's smartphone sales in the first quarter of this year increased by 2.5% year-on-year.

Huawei's performance is particularly outstanding, with sales soaring by nearly 30% year-on-year and a market share of 19.4%, leading the way for two consecutive quarters. Its main contributions come from the nova 13 series and Pura 70 series.

Xiaomi ranks second in terms of growth rate, as the popularity of electric vehicles has brought brand spillover effects to its mobile phone business. In the current quarter, Xiaomi's mobile phone sales increased by 16.5%, with a market share of 16.6%, ranking third.

A year ago, Apple, which ranked first, saw a year-on-year decline in sales of 7.7% and a drop in market share to fifth place, partly due to most iPhone models being priced above the subsidy limit of 6000 yuan.

Vivo, OPPO, and Honor ranked second, fourth, and sixth respectively, with corresponding shares of 17.0%, 14.6%, and 13.7%.
