According to foreign media reports, the internal screen design of the Samsung Galaxy Z Wide Fold phone has undergone a major upgrade, with the new phone's internal screen ratio adjusted to 4:3 and the horizontal display area significantly widened.

Compared to the previous generation Galaxy Z Fold 7, which had a nearly square 1.11:1 ratio, this new design makes the screen shape closer to traditional tablets, directly optimizing landscape usage scenarios. When viewing photos and videos, the black borders on the top and bottom are significantly reduced, providing a more immersive visual experience.

Daily multitasking will also be more efficient, with more space for split screen operations, document editing, and application switching under the new ratio. Users can obtain a comfortable view without frequently rotating their phones, and practicality has been significantly improved.

The new device is also equipped with a brand new flexible display panel with almost no creases, which further improves the tactile and visual smoothness of the folding area. It is not easy to show obvious marks when used for a long time, and the overall texture has reached a new level.

In terms of operating system, the Galaxy Z Wide Fold will be equipped with the Android 17 based One UI 9.0 system for the first time. This interface will better adapt to the new internal screen and provide customized landscape interaction logic.
